ART MARBELLA ANNOUNCES THE GALLERIES PARTICIPATING IN ITS THIRD EDITION

As last year, I will be at Art Marbella with my Blog and Style Passion TV as official international Media Partner of this great art event. 

 

The third edition of Art Marbella, which will take place from July 28 to August 2 at the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones will grow in number of international exhibitors, and will have a number of important Spanish galleries participating for the first time, including Cayón and Galería Pilar Serra from Madrid, and Joan Prats from Barcelona, among others.  

According to Alejandro Zaia, director of Art Marbella, “the creation of the Advisory Board for this edition, - comprised of gallerists Pedro Carreras, Carles Taché and María Baró -, helped further establish the fair in the international art calendar, with participating galleries from France, the United States, England, Brazil, México, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Slovakia and Argentina.  A great opportunity to discover artists not previously exhibited in Spain.”

 

 

International galleries coming to Marbella this year include: Art Lounge, Sasha D Espacio de Arte, Del Infinito and Doble Zeta Art Gallery from Argentina; Baró Galeria de Brasil; Gallery CLU, RoFa Projects and Winn Slavin Fine Art from the United States; Gloria Cohen, Galerie Koralewski, Lieven De Buck Fine Arts and Maëelle Galerie from Francia; rosenfeld porcini and Maddox Art from England; SAMHART Gallery from Sweden; Gallery Steiner and SvH Atelier Gallery from Austria; Proyecto H Contemporáneo from México; Kún Kelemen Fine Arts from Slovakia; and Wadström Tönnheim Gallery from Sweden.

This edition of Art Marbella will showcase Spanish masters like Joan Miró, Antoni Tàpies, Eduardo Chillida, Pablo Palazuelo, Albert Ràfols-Casamada and Jorge Oteiza alongside important contemporary artists such as Manolo Valdés, Luis Gordillo, Herminio, Susana Talayero, Jaume Plensa, Ignacio Llamas and David Magán, among others.

The international artists on display will include masters such as Lucio Fontana, Yves Klein and Mimmo Rotella, together with contemporaries like Cornelia Parker, Túlio Pinto, Michael Joo, Carlos Cruz-Díez, Mimmo Paladino y Masao Yamamoto.

Of particular interest will be the solo show by Enrique Brinkmann from Málaga, organised by London gallery rosenfeld porcini, which will showcase a selection of his abstract paintings exhibiting the sculptural qualities that characterise his work.

SPECIAL PROJECTS 

At Marbella presents in its third edition two important special projects by Dionisio González and Lita Cabellut

Dionisio González (Gijón, 1965) will exhibit for the first time during Art Marbella the series Thinking Central Park, his most recent work.  González is a renowned multidiscipline artist and photographer whose work can be found in the permanent collections of Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and the Museum of Contemporary Photography of Chicago, among others.

Lita Cabellut (Sariñena, 1961), considered the contemporary Spanish artist most valued in the world, is another of Art Marbella’s strong artistic proposals, from the private collection of Gustavo Montoya.  Cabellut’s work is defined by the strength of her photorealistic portraits and her work on large scale canvasses using her own contemporary variation of the fresco technique.

 

 

The fair dedicates a space for artists of proximity were has invited photographer María Carrión to exhibit her work, characterized by her search and play with ligh, in a space dedicated to Sotogrande.  

For the first time in 2017, Starlite will be a Sponsor of Art Marbella and will have a space of his own to exhibit the work of Emilio Machado, one of the spanish artists more trascendental internationally. Machado higlights because of his figurative works' quality that sorprises in every detail, with the same impact of his abstract work.

The Council of Genalguacil, also a Sponsor, will exhibit pieces from its permanent collection as well as a selection of works by numerous artists that have participated in Art Meetings it has sponsored for more than twenty years.

 

 

ESTUDIO HERREROS

The prestigious architecture firm estudio Herreros joins the team of ART MARBELLA as design advisors for the third edition.  estudio Herreros has produced the 2008 and 2009 editions of ARCOmadrid, the design of exhibition spaces at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, and the upcoming Munch Museum in Oslo, among others.

Studio Herreros, located in Madrid, has 20 architects from seven different nationalities and reflects 30 years of experience of its founder, Juan Herreros, PhD Architect, Chair Professor of Architectural Design at Madrid School of Architecture and Full Professor at the GSAPP of Columbia University in New York and his partner Jens Richter, with more than 15 years at the firm.

Friday the 9th of June 2017 I have been invited to taste a VIP preview dinner at brand new NOBU Marbella restaurant at Puente Romano Beach Resort & Spa (before the opening to public on the 15th of June). Here you are all the pics and descriptions of what I've tasted!

 

I have savoured 11 dishes! Every dish tasted different from another at Nobu. They say that Executive Chef and owner Nobuyuki Matsuhisa from Japanese origins has combined ingredients and techniques inspired by every city he has lived in...and I think it's true!

 

The tacos with salmon or tuna was a funny way to start this fusion cuisine experience. Everything was amazing, but I really really loved New Style Salmon Sashimi: thinly sliced sashimi set in yuzu soy sauce with garlic puree, ginger, chives, sesame seeds and a cherry tomato, then lightly seared with a blend of hot sesame seed and olive oils.

 

Tuna Sashimi Salad was delicious too: Seared big eye tuna sashimi placed around mixed fieldgreens with Matsuhisa dressing, topped with paper thin Nobu salad and shredded daikon. 

 

If you like something more spicy I would recommend you Kushiyaki Anticucho: skewered and grilled (chicken, beef or salmon) served with anticucho sauce, topped with chives accompanied by hijiki and pickled apricot.

 

Do you prefer citric flavours? Then Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeño is right for you.
If you are vegetarian or love sweet flavours, you can try Eggplant Miso: you'll love it!
Black Code Butter Lettuce looks like tapas and it is a little bit sweet too.

 

If you love meat, you have to try Beef Toban Yaki: grilled beef tenderloin roasted in a hot ceramic dish, flamed with sake and deglazedwith yuzusoy sauceserved over leeks with asparagus, enoki and shitake mushrooms. The beef has been pre-sliced and is chopstick friendly. 

 

Would you prefer something lighter? You can try the Umami Chicken Wings: Umami marinated grilled chicken wings with miso salt on the side. And of course Classic Style Sushi.

 

As dessert I really loved the Cheesecake with strawberry ice cream.
I recommend 2 cocktails: Grapefruit on the rocks and Lychee Martini, refreshing and aromatic, perfect for the Summer Season. 

 

Congratulations to the Chefs Eleni Manousou and Hervé Courtot and many thanks to all the staff: everybody was really kind. If you are in Marbella I suggest you to try this restaurant, the first Nobu opened in Spain!

 

The Latin Awards (Premios Latino) have recognized through a fabulous Gala the best works of Latin cinema and music, assigning the Latin Gold Awards (Premios Latino de Oro) and Honor Awards (Premios de Honor) to the best professionals in the world in the Latin music and film industry. The singers Lucrecia, Hugo Salazar, Sergio Contreras, 4 Babys, Raúl Fuentes, Miguel Saez, Mario Mendez, Angela Dionisio, Ana & Antonella are only a part of the winners. This year actress Eva Isanta was the hostess of this great event. I am Alfieri & St. John Brand Ambassador, the luxury jewelry Italian brand that has just openend its first Boutique in Spain. You can find the new collection in the exclusive Calle Serrano n°86, Madrid. 

 

As Alfieri & St. John Brand Ambassador I wore the Cross 1977, symbol of the brand in white gold and diamonds. There are only 77 pieces of this unique jewel and I am so lucky by having one of them. 

 

Here I am with some Russian friends coming from Barcelona for this special occasion.  

Last 4th of May we celebrated in Madrid the opening of the new luxury jewelry boutique of the Italian firm Alfieri & St.John, founded in 1977, becoming its first boutique in Spain. The firm opens its doors at number 86 of the exclusive Serrano Street, the Spanish "Fifth Avenue". 

 

It was attended by prominent figures such as the Real Madrid player Álvaro Morata, his future wife Alice Campello and the TV hostess Arantxa del Sol. 

 

 

 

For the most appointed day of their lives, Alfieri & St.John has designed the couple's rings. It is a mixture between the alliance "francesina", aesthetically more classic and simple, and the more comfortable one. Also the weight has been made ad hoc, a little thicker than the traditional one, following the indications of the ‘it girl’ and the soccer player. The choice of color has not been the most classic (yellow gold), although they have opted for pink gold, more modern, warm and sensual, perfectly aligned with the style Alfieri. 

 

At the opening we were able to see Alfieri & St.John's new jewelry proposals for this Spring / Summer 2017: small works of art with sophisticated, futuristic and exclusive designs. Each piece is designed with noble materials, gold, silver, colored enamels, rare and unusual stones.

 

 

Its collections take the name of important dates for the brand and highlights of the history of literature and art. It is aimed at independent, sophisticated women with character and personality. In short, Alfieri & St.John offers small, unrepeatable and unique masterpieces, illuminated with colorful stones and unusual materials, accentuated by the use of craft techniques, creating a unique piece of each jewel.

 

 

Gens Aurea CEO, Fabio Godano, present at the event, thanked the enthusiasm and support they have received. The inauguration was attended by several personalities, influencers and the president of the Madrid Comites, Pietro Mariani, as representative of the Italian Community in Spain. 

 

I have had the honor to attend this event as new Brand Ambassador of Alfieri & St. John in Spain and foreign correspondent for LeiStyle Magazine, the new Italian magazine published in Milan. I have participated to "A 4 manos" by Dani Garcia in honour of Nobu at Puente Romano Marbella with a lot of Michelin Star Chefs. This is the most important culinary event in Spain and the second one in the world. I have interviewed the famous Chef Dani Garcia **Michelin, Jonnie Boer ***Michelin, Jordi Cruz **Michelin and Pepe Rodriguez *Michelin from Masterchef Spain TV Show. This year I have celebrated my birthday party on the same date of my birthday: the 16th of November 2016. It has been a great party, but first of all I would like to thank all my friends that sent me their greetings from almost all over the world: Argentina, USA, Austria, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, France, Australia, Hong Kong, Perú, Malta, Spain, Italy, etc. 

 

To start the celebrations, in the afternoon I went to Ross Hegarty Hair Salon in Marbella. A really nice place which I already knew for the flawless treatment of my hair and my person. As my bronde hair become lighter during the Summer season, Ross suggested me to make my hair colour a little bit darker and cut my hair tips. I believe in Ross experience and here you are the result: an amazing light chocolate colour, my favourite haircut and hairstyle! Many thanks to Ross Hegarty Hairdressing for his great work in such a special day for me.

 

 

After the hairstyling and makeup, I went with my friends to the place where I organized my party. We had dinner at a new Italian Restaurant at only 2 minutes by walking from the hairsalon: El Paraíso Gourmet Club. We tasted some Italian products (different kinds of ham, cheese, bruschette, etc.) and the Gourmet Pizza...everything was delicious! Me and my guests loved the welcome cocktail too: a good spritz, my favourite one! 

 

 

Suddenly lights went off, the DJ put on a really cool birthday song and a beautiful cream and strawberry cake with a champagne bottle came out from the kitchen! I got really surprised fot that unforgettable moment! Then my friends sang "happy Birthday to you", drank a toast to me and we enjoyed together the elegant music of Galactic, my friend and DJ who plays at the exclusive events I organize in Costa del Sol. 

 

 

I can't believe that I decided to plan this party only 48 hours before! It has been a great party thanks to all of you. My special thanks go to: Ross Hegarty for my new look, Daniele, Ramona and El Paraíso Gourmet Club Staff  for their kindness, DJ Galactic for the good vibes, Matteo for his presence and all my friends that brought me love by coming to celebrate my birthday together. Of course thank you for your beautiful gifts and flowers too! Art and love were in the air that night...and I loved it! Unfortunately some of my friends were away from Marbella and couldn't come to my party, but maybe we are going to celebrate one more time...stay tuned Lots of love, Ariana 

 

 

 

 

As you can see here I have been at Pasarela Larios Malaga Fashion Week 2016 as Blogger & Style Consultant and TV Presenter for Style Passion TV, Media Partner of this great event. I'm proud to present the photos of Asunción Retamero new collection taken during the fashion show and the video of Style Passion TV Show with her interview. Asunción is a talented fashion designer in Spain. She explained to me her inspiration: 

 

 

"A Pink Life" is inspired by my personal dream of making many aspects of life that are becoming hard and inhospitable lighter.
The pink color I think is the best colour to reflect the different phases that a woman has in her life. Pink is a tender, sweet, soft, feminine and subtly innocent color.

 

 

 "A Pink Life" is the personal desire to dress women with different shades of pink - in different aspects and sensations of their life - as you can see. Pink from its lighter tone, symbolizing the innocence of childhood. Climbing the scale, we have the pink chewing gum for more daring girls.

 

 

Make-up pink, talc and nude pink, evoking the finest lingerie and corset dresses, to mark her femininity, for a very self-confident woman.

 

 

 

 We also find dresses reminiscent of meadows with flowers, pink and mauve daisies and a green touch in relief, an ode to quiet life, and other dresses with the most aggressive tendency, regarding color and style, as I show with a combination in rebrodée lace with fusion of pvc and embroidery with different components of Swarovski and I present the pink in its strongest version, fluorine pink.

 

 

Fabrics and materials that I have used are very different. For example the tulle in 3 variants of materials and colors, embroidered organza, lace, chantilly, Italian, French and national laces, some with lurex others in rebrodées hand-painted, embroidered in Crystal, pvc, gauze, Swarovski and more elements that give a special touch to the "A Pink Life" Collection.

First of all I would like to thank all the participants to the Halloween International Photo Contest! All costumes are amazing, but there's a picture that received definitely more Likes than others on the Facebook page Ariana Soffici Style & Digital Consultant. And the winner is...the zombie birth! I congratulate the winner Vicky Madera who is an artist: a dramatic interpreter of a really scary character for Halloween and amazing singer in Costa del Sol during the rest of the year. Believe me: she is not used to be so scary! 

 

 

Congrats Vicky for your victory! Now you have to sing something like "We are the champions" and send me the video! Lol

 

 

Today I'm going to tell you about my first time in Sevilla. I have been invited to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Sevilla as Style Blogger and to record a Style Passion TV Show too. I was very excited when I read that Agatha Ruiz de la Prada would be one of the fashion designers! She is very original, nonconformist and her creations are always full of colours, geometric shapes but at the same time comfy. This  event has not been only a fashion show. It has been a charity event in favor of the Spain Asociation Against Cancer. For this reason many artists have done a performance on the stage as Hugo Salazar and Andy y Lucas as you will see down here. Many designers have participated and in this video you will see the collections of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, El Potro, Sonia Tolosa, Arte y Elegancia, Carmela Rosso, Aliaga, Carmen Romero and the amazing dress that opened the fashion week by Voos Atelier. It has been amazing to be there! I hope that you will enjoy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It has already passed a year from my blog launch and as you can see, during this year I have done amazing things: I have been invited as Blogger and Image Consultant on National TV Show "Cambiame" on Telecinco Mediaset España, I have begun to present my own TV Show for Style Passion TV Channel, I have participated to international events as Premios Latino, Mercedes Benz Fashion Weekend Sevilla, Malaga Fashion Week, Art Marbella, Maserati in Puerto Banus and so on. 

 

 

I have interviewed many celebrities as Hollywood actor Antonio Banderas, Top Model Valeria Mazza, international singer Monica Naranjo, Cristina Castaño and Vanesa Romero both actresses at "La que se avecina", the most popular TV commedy series in Spain and many others. I have also met international famous people as Paris Hilton and Sarah Fergusson Duchess of York.

 

 

I am really happy for all these things and now I'm ready to focus more on the potential of my blog. As I write every single post in 3 languages, I upload photos and videos from Style Passion TV Show and I have my personal style, I have received a lot of congratulations from journalists, bloggers, editors, etc.

Sometimes you feel like there's no choice, no chance to change your life, but there are a lot of opportunities and possibilities around you. You have to take the one you need and keep on fighting for your dreams. That's the only way to obtain what you want and what you deserve. You have to keep in mind that you can do everything if you really want. Always.

All of us have positive and negative feelings, but we have to do the first step into the right direction. A positive attitude is the best choice we can do everyday. If you don't believe it, just stop a minute, have a look around and you will see that smiling people obtain more smiles, kindness, attention and good manners from other people. Of course they have their problems too, but they have decided to take the right way and with the right attitude they will have a better day.

So keep in mind this simple quote "The only difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude" and try to apply it everyday. I wish you a nice week ahead with my #MotivationalMonday quote.

The VI edition of Pasarela Larios has been a success for everybody: Nueva Moda Producciones (Organizer), designers, brands, models, sponsors, partners and Malaga. This event continues to grow in importance and it is becoming a reference in the Fashion World. We enjoyed the new collections of 16 great designers: Sonia Peña, Hugo Clavelina, Jesús Segado, Ángel Palazuelos, Ikram el Louah, Antonia Galiano, Gemma Melé, Rafael Urquízar, Javier Alcántara, Mario Teo, Jorge Sánchez, Valerio Luna, Carla Ruiz, Asunción Retamero, Bartolomé Barrera and Mona Al Mansouri.

Today I have been in Rio Real Playa in Marbella for a photo shooting. This place is amazing! Long beach, sun, sea, palms, trees, natural dunes and the mountain behind. What else? As I didn't use to share everything on social media, some of you asked me to talk about my personal life on my blog. So I have decided to share some nice moments of my life with you right here. I would like to start by posting a short video of my vacation in Italy this summer. I have been in Cervo, a beautiful Middle Ages village in the Ligurian Riviera. I hope that you will enjoy my pictures and video as I did that day.

This is the place where Jessica, Andrea and Jack have played last summer, Bagni Marea Beach Lounge at Mare Hotel Savona. This amazing place is managed by my friend Alberto and his lovely family. 

 

 

I love seafood, crudité & coquillage. So I can't leave without tasting this delicious plate at the Oyster Café in the Savona Darsena, managed by my friend Luca. 

 

 

As I promised to my freind Alessandro A. I have been also at Mezzo Marinaio Restaurant to have dinner with my friends Luca, Roberto and my beautiful friends Licia and Venthama. Great food in a great company.

 

 

These are only some of the beautiful moments I spent in Italy with my best friends. I love travelling and living abroad, but I miss them, so I come back everytime I can.
